Safety cabinet for storing flammable liquids - for safe storage
The storage cabinet for flammable liquids ensures the safe storage of flammable liquids such as petrol, turpentine or kerosene. Thanks to its robust design, it can also withstand very high loads, such as those that can occur in the event of a fire or the escape of aggressive vapors. As a type 90 safety storage cabinet, it has a fire resistance rating of 90 minutes.
The storage cabinet for flammable liquids is made of 1-1.5 mm thick sheet steel coated with acid-resistant epoxy powder. Thanks to special insulation made of high-density rock wool fiber boards and calcium sulphate boards, the cabinet can withstand temperatures of up to 800°C. The inside of the storage cabinet is clad with melamine laminate, making it resistant even to corrosive gases. A 3 cm thermodilution seal (DIN 4102) provides additional safety.
The door has an anti-spark hinge and an automatic hydraulic closing mechanism that is activated at a temperature of 47°C. From 70°C, the shut-off valves of the air inlet and outlet ducts on the top and bottom also close.
Quality features of the hinged door cabinet:
- 4 load-bearing shelves
- height-adjustable feet
- resistant to high temperatures (up to 800°C) and aggressive vapors
- automatic closing and shut-off mechanisms when a certain temperature is reached
The storage cabinet for flammable liquids is supplied with a light gray corpus (RAL 7035) and rapeseed yellow front (RAL 1021). It complies with the safety guidelines in accordance with EN 14470-1 and EN 14727.
