Storage cabinet for lithium-ion batteries - for safe and proper storage

The storage cabinet for lithium-ion batteries ensures safe storage of your device batteries. Thanks to its robust construction, it can withstand even very high loads, as can occur in the event of a battery fire or the escape of aggressive vapors.

The storage cabinet for lithium-ion batteries is made of 1-1.5 mm thick sheet steel, cold-bent and painted with acid-proof epoxy powder, and passed through a heat tunnel at 200°C. Thanks to special insulation made of high-density rock wool fiberboard and calcium sulfate board, the cabinet can withstand temperatures of up to 800°C. The interior of the storage cabinet is covered with melamine laminate, making it resistant even to corrosive gases. Additional safety is provided by a 3 cm thermodilution seal (DIN 4102).

The door has an anti-spark hinge as well as an automatic hydraulic closing mechanism that is activated at a temperature of 47°C. In addition, from 70°C, the shut-off valves of the air inlet and outlet ducts at the top and bottom close (certified 90 minutes).

Quality features of the hinged door cabinet:

• resistance to high temperatures (up to 800°C) and aggressive vapors
• automatic closing and shut-off mechanisms when a certain temperature is reached

The storage cabinet for lithium-ion batteries is supplied with light gray corpus (RAL 7035) and gentian blue front (RAL 5010). The cabinet is intended for storage only. It is not possible to charge the batteries in the cabinet. The storage cabinet complies with the safety regulations according to EN 14470-1 and EN 14727.
